Sick Leave Day definition

Sick Leave Day means a day (as determined under a separate plan or program maintained by the Employer or pursuant to applicable local or state law) for which the Employee is entitled to payment of one day’s compensation by the Employer, when the Employee is physically or mentally unable to perform his or her duties or is otherwise absent from work for medical reasons.
Sick Leave Day means a Day on which a Pilot was scheduled for duty but was unable to report for duty due to illness.
Sick Leave Day means a scheduled work day.   • Sick Leave Day payouts are retroactive to the first day of eligibility once all criteria are met.

  • Sick Leave means the period of time an employee is absent from work with or without pay, by virtue of sickness, quarantine, or accident, or out-of-town medical/dental referrals for which compensation is not payable under the Worker's Compensation Act.

To the extent that the Bankruptcy Court or any higher court denies or reduces by a Final Order any amount of a Retained Professional’s fees or expenses, then those reduced or denied amounts shall no longer constitute Accrued Professional Compensation.
