SHORT-TERM ILLNESS AND INJURY AND LONG-TERM DISABILITY. Employees shall be entitled to coverage for short term illness and injury and long term disability in accordance with agreed upon regulations which will be subject to review and revision during the period of this Agreement by negotiations between the Parties and included as Appendix A to this Agreement.

SHORT-TERM ILLNESS AND INJURY AND LONG-TERM DISABILITY. Regular employees shall be entitled to coverage for short term illness and injury and long term disability in accordance with the regulations as outlined in Information Appendix "A" to this agreement. The Employer shall amend the regulations described under this Article and under Information Appendix "A" to this agreement to bring them into line with regulations in effect for the majority of unionized employees in the Public Service of British Columbia and such amendments will be incorporated into Appendix "A". The effective date(s) for such amendments will be the same as those implemented for the majority of unionized employees in the Public Service.

SHORT-TERM ILLNESS AND INJURY AND LONG-TERM DISABILITY. Employees shall be entitled to participate in Short Term Illness and Injury and Long Term Disability Plans. The Employer shall only be obligated to pay the premiums to provide the Plans in accordance with agreed-upon regulations included in Appendix 1.
SHORT-TERM ILLNESS AND INJURY AND LONG-TERM DISABILITY. The allowance shall be pro-rated for partial months. For the purpose of calculating the hourly rate, the bi-weekly allowance shall be divided by seventy (70); however, no employee shall receive more than the monthly allowance for the Level of certificate which they hold. Employees designated to act as the Occupational First Aid Attendant in addition to their normal job duties will receive their full monthly allowance while on approved leave with pay of up to ten (10) days or while on vacation leave with pay. Where the Employer has an additional requirement for a First Aid Attendant on a temporary basis, then provided the employee acts as the First Aid Attendant for a minimum of ten (10) work days in any month, the employee shall receive the full monthly allowance.
