SFTO means Special Freight Train Operator and refers to the parties who invest in procurement of rakes and arranges traffic for loading/unloading in the Special Freight Trains (SFT), owned by them after obtaining necessary permission from the MOR under this policy.

  • In case a SFTO procures new wagons, design loan charges shall be payable by the operator to RDSO at rates as applicable at the time of manufacture of such wagon for use of design & drawings of RDSO.

  • However, the SFTO shall coordinate compliance of warranty calls booked by the Maintainer with the builder and cost of all uncomlied warranty repairs shall be the liability of the Concessionaire.
