Severely immunocompromised means a seriously weakened immune system that lowers the body's ability to fight infection and may increase the risk of getting severely sick from SARS- CoV-2, from being on chemotherapy for cancer, being within one year out from receiving a hematopoietic stem cell or solid organ transplant, untreated HIV infection with CD4 T lymphocyte count less than 200, combined primary immunodeficiency disorder, and receipt of prednisone greater than 20mg per day for more than 14 days.
