Service Works definition

Service Works means the construction, modification, or relocation of Services all of which are to be designed and constructed by the Alliance or the relevant Service Authority and handed over to RTA, an Authority or any other person in accordance with the PAA.

Subcontractor includes a subcontractor, a supplier of goods or services (including plant hire) or a consultant (including a designer) or any of them. Subsidiary D&C Programs means the subsidiary programs referred to in clause 5.12(a). Taxes means all income tax, stamp duty, and other taxes, levies, imposts, duties, deductions, charges and withholdings plus any interest, penalties, charges, fees or other amounts payable in respect thereof. Temporary Areas means the land described as such in the Site Access Schedule. Temporary Works means any temporary physical works performed for the purpose of carrying out the Company's Work, but which do not form part of the Project Works.
Service Works means the plant, equipment, apparatus, appliances, property and facilities employed by or in connection with the Utility in providing the supply of water to the property line of the Authorized Premises and any water meters in connection with the Service;

More Definitions of Service Works

Service Works means the works related to the locating, removal and/or relocation of the networks, which the competent Public Utility Organisations shall not allow the Concessionaire to execute, and which such competent Public Utility Organisations shall execute themselves, having obtained the approval of the Service, in accordance with the provisions set out herein.
Service Works means the remedial works and measures carried out pursuant to Clause 4 and Clause 5.2.

Related to Service Works

  • Work/ works means work / works to be executed in accordance with the contract.

  • The Works means the work or works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Sewage works means all facilities for collecting, pumping, treating, and disposing of sewage.

  • Contractor Software means software which is proprietary to the Contractor, including software which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.

  • Developed Software means software specifically designed for the Principal under the Contract. Depending how advanced its development is, it may be either a Product or a Service or both.

  • Custom Software means Software identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Custom Software.

  • Supplier Software means software which is proprietary to the Supplier or its Affiliates which is used or supplied by the Supplier in the provision of the Services; Supplier Staff means all persons employed or engaged by the Supplier together with the Supplier's servants, agents, suppliers, consultants and Sub-Contractors (and all persons employed by any Sub-Contractor together with the Sub-Contractor’s servants, consultants, agents, suppliers and Sub-Contractors) used in the performance of its obligations under this Contract; Time and Materials means the pricing mechanism for the Services as may be agreed by the Parties and set out at paragraph Error: Reference source not found in the SOW; TUPE means the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (SI 2006/246) as amended or replaced or any other regulations or UK legislation implementing the Acquired Rights Directive; Velocity means the Metric which measures the total number of Story Points for Stories that have been accepted in a Sprint, indicating the rate of progress towards Acceptance of all Stories from the Product Backlog;

  • Customer Technology means Customer's proprietary technology, including Customer's Internet operations design, content, software tools, hardware designs, algorithms, software (in source and object forms), user interface designs, architecture, class libraries, objects and documentation (both printed and electronic), know-how, trade secrets and any related intellectual property rights throughout the world (whether owned by Customer or licensed to Customer from a third party) and also including any derivatives, improvements, enhancements or extensions of Customer Technology conceived, reduced to practice, or developed during the term of this Agreement by Customer.

  • Embedded Software means one or more software applications which permanently reside on a computing device.

  • Collective Work means a work, such as a periodical issue, anthology or encyclopedia, in which the Work in its entirety in unmodified form, along with a number of other contributions, constituting separate and independent works in themselves, are assembled into a collective whole. A work that constitutes a Collective Work will not be considered a Derivative Work (as defined below) for the purposes of this License.

  • Minor Works has the meaning given to it in paragraph 2.7(a) of Schedule 4 (Persons with Disabilities and Disability Discrimination);

  • Assistive technology service means any service that directly assists a child with a disability in the selection, acquisition, or use of an assistive technology device. The term includes:

  • Work Products are defined as all materials, tangible or not, created in whatever medium pursuant to this Agreement, including without limitation publications, promotional or educational materials, reports, manuals, specifications, drawings and sketches, computer programs, software and databases, schematics, marks, logos, graphic designs, notes, matters and combinations thereof, and all forms of intellectual property.

  • Urgent Works means any urgent measures, which in the opinion of the Engineer-in-charge become necessary during the progress of the work to obviate any risk of accident or failure or which become necessary for security.

  • Computer Hardware and Software means all of each Loan Party’s and each of its Subsidiary’s rights (including rights as licensee and lessee) with respect to (a) computer and other electronic data processing hardware, including all integrated computer systems, central processing units, memory units, display terminals, printers, computer elements, card readers, tape drives, hard and soft disk drives, cables, electrical supply hardware, generators, power equalizers, accessories, peripheral devices and other related computer hardware; (b) all software and all software programs designed for use on the computers and electronic data processing hardware described in clause (a) above, including all operating system software, utilities and application programs in whatsoever form (source code and object code in magnetic tape, disk or hard copy format or any other listings whatsoever); (c) any firmware associated with any of the foregoing; and (d) any documentation for hardware, software and firmware described in clauses (a), (b) and (c) above, including flow charts, logic diagrams, manuals, specifications, training materials, charts and pseudo codes.
