Service Load definition

Service Load means (i) all of Pepco's default service retail electric energy customers located in Pepco's service territory, as such territory exists on the Effective Date, in the District of Columbia, and (ii) the energy requirements of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority in the Commonwealth of Virginia which Pepco is required to provide.
Service Load means (i) all of Pepco's default service retail electric energy customers located in Pepco's service territory, as such territory exists on the Effective Date, in the State of Maryland and (ii) qualifying facilities to which Pepco is obligated to sell energy pursuant to the rates and terms set forth in Pepco's qualifying facilities tariff on file with the Maryland Public Service Commission which is currently designated as MD-CG-SPP.
Service Load means live and dead loads as specified in these Technical Provisions without load factors.

Examples of Service Load in a sentence

  • Seller shall have the right to request and nominate ARRs if: (i) all Transactions for Default Service Load have been executed and are in full force and effect; and (ii) the Delivery Period under each Transaction Confirmation is inclusive of the PJM Planning Period for which the ARRs are being requested or nominated.

  • The MWh of Energy shall be equivalent to the product of Specified Percentage and the Default Service Load for the Customer Supply Group.

  • Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, Seller acknowledges that Buyer makes no representation as to any amount of Default Service Load that may or may not be required during this Agreement.

  • For purposes of determining the amount of Alternative Services Pepco purchases to satisfy its energy requirements, energy requirements for any day shall be the net amount of energy Pepco purchases for the Service Load in the PJM day-ahead and second settlement markets.

  • During the term of this Agreement, Generator shall supply to Pepco and make available within PJM on Pepco's behalf, and Pepco shall purchase from Generator, Pepco's full requirements for Capacity Resources to serve the Service Load ("Capacity Resource Requirements") at the prices set forth in Article 6 of this Agreement.

  • As of the date of execution of this Agreement, the Station Service Load related to each Unit is calculated as approximately five MW.

  • If Seller is not able to self-supply Energy to satisfy Station Service Load, Seller shall compensate Buyer for Energy to serve the Station Service Load at the MISO Real-Time Market LMP for the appropriate CPNode, including any transmission or settlement charges associated with such Energy, during any period of time in which the Facilities are not operating or are not generating sufficient Energy to meet the Station Service Load of the Facilities.

  • In the event that any fees, damages, penalties or transmission charges are assessed against Buyer by any Governing Authority in connection with the Station Service Load or any Energy obtained to serve the Station Service Load, Seller shall reimburse Buyer for such fees, damages, penalties or transmission charges within 10 Business Days of invoice receipt therefor.

  • During any period in which any Unit is operating, Seller shall be permitted to satisfy the Station Service Load using Energy generated by any such Unit.

  • On or before April 1 preceding each Planning Period thereafter, Pepco shall provide Generator with a non-binding estimate of the Capacity Resources required to supply the Service Load for each month in the following Planning Period.

  • Service Location means a location at which a member obtains a covered service provided by a physician or other licensed practitioner of the healing arts under the terms of a contract.
