Service Award definition

Service Award means any award approved by the Court that is payable to the Class Representatives from the Settlement Fund.
Service Award means any Court ordered payment to Plaintiff for serving as Class Representative, which is in addition to any payment due to Plaintiff as a Settlement Class Member.
Service Award means such funds as may be awarded by the Court to the Representative Plaintiffs for their service as Representative Plaintiffs.

Examples of Service Award in a sentence

  • No later than ten (10) business days prior to the Final Approval Hearing, Named Plaintiffs shall make an application to the Court for the Court’s approval of a Service Award of $10,000 for each Named Plaintiff to be paid from the Settlement Funds.

More Definitions of Service Award

Service Award means an award authorized by the Court to be paid to each Plaintiff in recognition of his/her efforts in prosecuting the Action and obtaining the benefits of the Settlement for the Class Members, such award not to exceed Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000) for each of the Plaintiffs.
Service Award means an Award that vests solely based on the passage of time or continued Service over a fixed period of time.
Service Award means a reasonable payment, subject to Court approval, made to a Plaintiff as compensation for his or her efforts in pursuing these Actions.
