SERP Participant definition

SERP Participant means a key executive of the Company selected by the Committee to participate in the SERP.

SERP Participant means an individual who has been designated as eligible to participate in the SERP. For purposes of this Plan, such individual is considered a SERP Participant whether or not he or she has satisfied the vesting requirements of the SERP.

SERP Participant means (i) each Eligible Employee holding the title of vice-president of the Company as of December 31, 2003 who accrued benefits under the Newell Operating Company Supplemental Retirement Plan for Key Executives and who timely elected, on a form provided by the Committee, to receive a credit to his SERP Cash Sub-Account under the Plan in lieu of all benefits to which he would otherwise be entitled under the Newell Operating Company Supplemental Retirement Plan for Key Executives, and (ii) each Eligible Employee holding the title of division president or above of the Company as of December 31, 2003.

Examples of SERP Participant in a sentence

• An AT&T SERP Participant whose SERP Effective Date is prior to January 1, 2009 shall have his Early Retirement Discount calculated and frozen as of his AT&T SERP Vesting Date for purposes of calculating this Plan’s benefit.

• In addition, any AT&T SERP Participant whose SERP Effective Date is on or after January 1, 2009 shall have his Early Retirement Discount calculated and frozen as of his SERP Effective Date.

• The term “ AT&T SERP Vesting Date” shall mean the date that an AT&T SERP Participant becomes 100% vested in the AT&T SERP.

• An AT&T SERP Participant whose SERP Effective Date is prior to January 1, 2009 shall have his Pension Plan benefit and Primary Social Security benefit calculated and frozen as of his AT&T SERP Vesting Date for purposes of calculating this Plan’s benefit.

• Effective as of and from January 1, 2000, unless otherwise provided by the Board, a “SERP” Employer Non-Elective Contribution shall be made on behalf of a Participant who is a SERP Participant in such amount, if any, as determined in writing by the Board at or prior to the time the contribution is made.

More Definitions of SERP Participant

SERP Participant means each Spinco Employee who, as of the date of this Agreement, participates in the Heinz SERP.

SERP Participant means an individual who was a participant in the SERP immediately prior to the Merger Date.”

SERP Participant means an employee who first becomes a Participant in the Plan on or after the Effective Date and prior to such participation, the employee was a participant under the Nonqualified Plan.

SERP Participant means, the Participant, Mr. Leon Tempelsman or Mr. Robert Speisman.

SERP Participant means a Participant in the Plan who also is a participant in the SERP.

SERP Participant means an officer who is designated as a participant in the AT&T Inc. 2005 Supplemental Employee Retirement Plan (the “AT&T SERP”). The initial day of participation in such plan is the named officer’s “SERP Effective Date” as defined in the AT&T SERP. For purposes of this Plan, such individual is considered a SERP Participant whether or not he or she has satisfied the vesting requirements of the SERP.

SERP Participant means an Employee or former Employee of the Company who meets all conditions of eligibility under Article III.
