Self-Haul definition
Self-Haul means the practice of collecting and transporting Recyclable Materials to a Recycling Drop-Off Center or to a location outside of the County in lieu of a Recycling Contract with a Collector. This practice is limited to Commercial Establishments with five (5) or fewer employees that have an established Recyclables Collection System and demonstrate Self-Hauling of Recyclable Materials to a Recycling Drop-Off Center or to a residence located outside of the County in lieu of a Recycling Contract with a Collector.
Self-Haul or “self-hauling” means waste material being generated and hauled by the same person.

Examples of Self-Haul in a sentence
The transport of Solid Waste by a person or entity that is not the generator of the Solid Waste is not Self-Haul.
The Authority will calculate the actual Tons of Self-Haul material delivered to the Transfer Station through the mass balance formula shown in Attachment 9.
The reconciliation process involves evaluation of the difference between the actual cubic yards charged Self-Haul Customers and the estimate cubic yards based on actual Self-Haul Tonnage received.

More Definitions of Self-Haul
Self-Haul or “Self-Hauler” means a Person who hauls Discarded Materials, recovered material, or any other material, to another Person, or as otherwise defined in 14 CCR Section 18982(a)(66). Self-Hauler also includes a Person who back-hauls waste, as defined in 14 CCR Section 18982(a)(66)(A).
Self-Haul or “self‐hauling” means waste material being generated and hauled by the same person.
Self-Haul means the act of Transporting CD&D Materials by the Applicant using its own employees and vehicles.
Self-Haul means to haul Solid Waste, Organic Waste or Recyclable material generated to another person. Back-haul means generating and transporting Organic Waste to a destination owned and operated by the generator using the generator’s own employees and equipment, or as otherwise defined in 14 CCR Section 18982(a)(66)(A).
Self-Haul means someone other than a public or private hauler who takes solid waste from the place of generation to a transfer facility, transfer/materials recovery facility, landfill, or transformation facility.
Self-Haul means the hauling for disposal and/or recycling of any solid waste by the same person who generated it.
Self-Haul means when an applicant or generator collects C&D materials or other solid waste at their premises or place of business for the purpose of hauling those materials in their own vehicles to permitted solid waste facilities (for garbage and organics) or facilities that accept and responsibly process other solid wastes (excluding garbage and organics) in compliance with the requirements of this Ordinance.
