Security Standards definition
Security Standards means the final rule implementing HIPAA’s Security Standards for the Protection of Electronic PHI, as amended.
Security Standards means the Security Standards for the Protection of Electronic Protected Health Information as set forth in 45 C.F.R. Parts 160 and 164.
Security Standards means the Security Standards at 45 CFR parts 160, 162 and 164, as amended by the HITECH Act and HIPAA Regulations and Guidance.

Contractor agrees to amend this Agreement as necessary to allow each party to comply with (a) the Privacy Standards; (b) the Standards for Electronic Transactions (45 CFR parts 160 and 162); and (c) the Security Standards, (collectively, the “Standards”), as they are amended from time to time by the Secretary.
Capitalized terms used in this Paragraph shall have the meaning given them in the Security Standards.
