Security Purposes definition

Security Purposes means preventing, detecting, protecting against, or responding to data security incidents, including cybersecurity incidents, identity theft, fraud, phishing, harassment, malicious or deceptive activities, or preserving the integrity or security of systems.
Security Purposes means the use by or for the appropriate authorities of a Contributing Member including, but not limited to, border control, the protection of citizens, critical infrastructure and transportation whether from deliberate acts (such as terrorism) or accidental or natural events (such as natural disasters). This does not include any sale, loan or transfer to a Third Party.

  • Accordingly, to the extent that any rights and claims are assigned by the Issuer to the Security Trustee for security purposes in accordance with clause 5 (Assignment for Security Purposes), in insolvency proceedings on the Security Trustee's estate, such rights would be segregated (Aussonderungsrecht) as assets of the Issuer held in trust.

  • Lessor's consent to a mortgage or encumbrance shall not be unreasonably withheld provided the mortgagee or encumbrance shall agree to the attached form of Consent to Assignment of Lease for Security Purposes attached hereto as Exhibit B.

Related to Security Purposes

  • Approved Purposes means the use of Data by the Provider for the purposes of providing services authorized by APS in Agreements entered into between APS and the Provider (“Authorized Services”) during the term of the SDUPA., and for no other purpose.

  • Approved Purpose means the purpose or purposes set out in item 1 of Schedule 1.

  • Permitted Purposes means the purposes that are more fully described in clause 2 of these Privacy Terms and Conditions;

  • Permitted Purpose means any activity or process to be undertaken or supervised by a Staff member of one Party during the term of this Agreement, for which purpose authorised disclosure of the other Party’s Confidential Information or Intellectual Property is a prerequisite in order to enable such activity or process to be accomplished;

  • Agreed Purposes as defined in Section 10.14.
