Secondary Sanctions definition
Secondary Sanctions means so-called "secondary" sanctions administered or enforced by the United States against non-U.S. entities engaging in, among other things, targeted activities involving Russia, certain sectors of the Russian economy, or sanctioned persons outside of U.S. jurisdiction.
Secondary Sanctions applied extraterritorially to the activities of non-U.S. persons even when the transaction has no U.S. nexus;
