SBAS definition

SBAS means a Satellite-based accuracy system. It improves the accuracy and reliability of GNSS information by correcting signal measurement errors and providing information about the accuracy, integrity, continuity, and availability of its signals.

Examples of SBAS in a sentence

  • Utilization of a SBAS / EGNOS- enabled or combined GPS+EGNOS / GLONASS receiver is an advantage.

  • If the AECD is fitted, in accordance with paragraph 1.4., with a GNSS receiver supporting at least three GNSS including GLONASS, GALILEO and GPS, and is able to receive and process SBAS signals, then the AECD shall comply with the requirements of paragraphs 17.3.1. to 17.3.11.

  • If the AECS is fitted, in accordance with paragraph 1.4., with GNSS receiver supporting at least three GNSS including GLONASS, GALILEO and GPS, and is able to receive and process SBAS signals, then the AECS shall comply with the requirements of paragraphs 35.3.1. to 35.3.10.

  • The Contractor shall develop an S-BSS control and management system integrated into the Satellite Beam Access Subsystem (SBAS) Control and Management System (CMS) to provide a single integrated control console.

  • Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Contractor shall timely apply for and use reasonable and diligent efforts to obtain U.S. and non-U.S. Government approvals, permits and licenses necessary for export or import of the Deliverable Items and services and other technical data and equipment related to the SBAS or SBN and SBN Work being furnished by Contractor, pursuant to or to be utilized in connection with this Contract.

  • Activities involving school students: As the focus of funding under the SBAS program is to assist established or intending small businesses, funding will not support activities involving training, or any form of formal (secondary or post-secondary) education for non business owners.

Related to SBAS

  • Subsystem means any subset of the System identified as such in the Contract that may be supplied, installed, tested, and commissioned individually before Commissioning of the entire System.
