Safing definition

Safing means a membrane or material installed beneath a fixture to prevent leakage from escaping to the floor, ceiling or walls.
Safing means a pan or other collector placed beneath a pipe or fixture to prevent leakage from escaping to the floor, ceil- ing or walls.
