Run-cutting definition

Run-cutting. —this means “cutting” up the vehicle blocks into shifts making up a day’s work (called an index) for an operator. Shifts must reflect the conditions set out in the collective agreement and related work rules, and must each be designed to meet legislated safety requirements. The goal is to attain a composition of work which enables the schedule to be delivered at the least cost in terms of operator hours paid for.

Person means any individual, corporation, limited liability company, partnership, joint venture, association, joint-stock company, trust, unincorporated organization or government or any agency or political subdivision thereof.
Clear-cutting means the harvest of timber in a fashion which removes all trees down to a two inch diameter at breast height.
Cutting means to penetrate with a sharp-edged instrument and includes sawing, but does not include shearing, slicing, or punching.
Fabrication means making up data or results and recording or reporting them.
Drill means a response to a planned, simulated event.
Rework means an operation conducted in the wellbore of a well after it is Completed to secure, restore, or improve production in a Zone which is currently open to production in the wellbore. Such operations include, but are not limited to, well stimulation operations but exclude any routine repair or maintenance work or drilling, Sidetracking, Deepening, Completing, Recompleting, or Plugging Back of a well.
Landfill cell means a discrete volume of a hazardous waste landfill which uses a liner to provide isolation of wastes from adjacent cells or wastes. Examples of landfill cells are trenches and pits.
Flocculation means a process to enhance agglomeration or collection of smaller floc particles into larger, more easily settleable particles through gentle stirring by hydraulic or mechanical means.
Samples means physical examples which illustrate materials, equipment or workmanship and establish standards by which the Work will be judged.
POS means point of sale.
Composting facility means a site, location, tract of land, installation, or building used for composting of solid waste in accordance with Chapter 3734. of the Revised Code and rules adopted thereunder. The composting facility includes the area of materials placement and any leachate management system structures.
Load means energy consumed by Customers together with allocated losses and unaccounted for energy;
borehole means a hole sunk into the earth for the purpose of locating, abstracting or using subterranean water and includes a spring;
drilling means the perforation of the earth’s surface for collection of core samples otherwise than by pitting, trenching or sinking a shaft, whether the hole is vertical, inclined or horizontal, and includes all operations for preventing the collapse of the sides of the hole or for preventing the hole from becoming filled with extraneous matter, including water;
Pruning means to remove branches from healthy vegetation in a manner that is acceptable using the natural method under the standards and guidelines listed in24VAC30-200-40 published by the American National Standards Institute, the American Association of Nurserymen, and the International Society of Arboriculture.
Steep slopes means those slopes forty percent or steeper within a vertical elevation change of at least ten feet. A slope is defined by establishing its toe and top and is measured by averaging the inclination over at least ten feet of vertical relief. For the purpose of this definition:
Runway means a defined rectangular area on a land aerodrome prepared for the landing and take-off of aircraft;

Commissioning means the process for determining the need for and for obtaining the supply of healthcare and related services by the Trust within available resources.

Movement means that hazardous waste transported to a facility in an individual vehicle.
Capture , with respect to an image, means to videotape, photograph, film or record by any means;
Grab sample means an individual sample collected in less than 15 minutes in conjunction with an instantaneous flow measurement.
Outputs means the goods or services that are produced by an entity or other person;
