Routine medication definition

Routine medication means medication taken regularly at the same time each day using the same route, or on the same days of the week, at the same time, using the same route.
Routine medication means a medication for which the frequency of administration, amount, strength, and method of administration are specifically fixed as determined by the physician or person authorized to order medications in the state of New Mexico. Routine does not include medications for which the time of administration, the amount, the strength of dosage, the method of administration or the reason for administration is left to judgment or discretion.
