ROM pad definition

ROM pad means the run of mine stockpile area, as depicted and labelled ‘ROM pad’ on the Premises Map in Schedule 1;
ROM pad means the surface area upon which haulage trucks shall drive to deposit Ore onto the ROM Stockpiles.

Examples of ROM pad in a sentence

  • Crushing Ore and Storage: ore extracted from the mine will be trucked to the surface and delivered to the ROM pad where it will be stockpiled.

  • Initial mining operations will focus on the construction of the ROM pad with waste material from Loulo 0 and the stockpiling of ore from Yalea, for processing from mid-2005.
