Road Opening definition

Road Opening or “Trench” means any excavation within a Road for the purpose of maintaining, locating or installing services, except shallow excavations for the purpose of constructing vehicle crossings, and excavations on grassed berms for the purpose of providing or maintaining services to residential sections.

Examples of Road Opening in a sentence

  • With respect to road openings and excavations, it is the obligation of the Developer to apply for all Road Opening Permits and provide appropriate financial security for the excavation work in the Township right-of-way in accordance with the Township’s Street Excavation Ordinance.
