It is recognised that pension arrangements are complex and that the best way to safeguard the future of the RMPP and develop the RMDCP, is by the Company and the Union working together through the introduction of new pension governance arrangements.
The TUPE transfer will not affect employees’ eligibility for membership of the RMPP or the Royal Mail Defined Contribution Plan; neither will it affect the overall value of the benefits built up by employees who are members of these pension plans.
