River Rafting Activities definition

River Rafting Activities shall include all activities in any way related to the river rafting trip, but not limited to, orientation and instruction sessions, transportation or travel to and from the river, loading and unloading of vehicles and rafts, and all activities while on the river.
River Rafting Activities shall include but is not limited to all activities in any way related to the river rafting trips, kayaking, or canoeing and all activities, services, and use of facilities either provided, arranged, or organized by the Releasees, including, but not limited to, orientation and instruction sessions or classes, transportation, food and beverage, loading and unloading of vehicles, rafts and boats, camping, backpacking, fishing, hiking, and backcountry travel. In this agreement, the term “negligence” includes the failure by the Releasees to use such care as a reasonably prudent and careful river guide or instructors would use under similar circumstances, or breach of any other duty of care imposed by law.
River Rafting Activities shall apply to all activities, events or services provided, arranged, organized, sponsored or authorized by the Releasees, including but not limited to: whitewater rafting;cliff jumping; use of safety equipment including personal floatation devices, helmets and wet suits; orientation and instruction sessions;all transportation or travel to and from the river; loading and unloading of vehicles and rafts; and all activities while on the river.

River Rafting Activities shall include all activities, trips, events or services provided by Shubenacadie River Runners, including, but not limited to, orientation and instruction sessions; transportation or travel to and from the water; loading and unloading of vehicles, equipment or rafts; all activities while on and off the water. ASSUMPTION OF RISKS: I am aware that River Rafting Activities involve many risks, dangers and hazards including, but not limited to: accidents which occur during transportation or travel to and from the water; overturning or upsetting of rafts or equipment; fall from the raft while on the water; impact or collision with rocks, trees, logs, deadfall, power boats, rafts, other vessels or equipment; hypothermia; encounters with domestic or wild animals; becoming lost or separated from the guide or group; lack of readily accessible medical facilities & treatment; lack of readily accessible communications measures; negligence of other rafters, negligence of other parties participating in activities offered by or associated with Shubenacadie River Runners Ltd. and negligence on the part of Shubenacadie River Runners Ltd. to safe guard and protect me from the risks, dangers and hazards of River Rafting Activities. I freely accept and fully assume all risks, dangers and hazards associated with River Rafting Activities and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or loss resulting therefrom. I am aware that the physical exertion required of River Rafting Activities and the forces exerted on the body can activate or aggravate pre-existing physical injuries, conditions, symptoms or congenital defects. I understand that if I know or suspect that my physical condition may be incompatible with River Rafting Activities that I should seek medical advice before undertaking the River Rafting Activities.

Related to River Rafting Activities

  • Competing Activities means the same or similar services as Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd is providing to the Restaurant under this Agreement or other activities having a similar purpose.

  • Contracting activity for DoD also means elements designated by the director of a defense agency which has been delegated contracting authority through its agency charter. DoD contracting activities are listed at PGI 202.101.
