Revenue and duties authorities definition

Revenue and duties authorities means a central executive authority responsible for formulating and implementing the state tax and customs policy, customs offices and customs stations.

  • Securities Authorities means the Ontario Securities Commission and equivalent securities regulatory authorities in each other province and territory of Canada, and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission;

  • Sanctions Authorities means the respective governmental institutions and agencies of any of the United States, the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, including without limitation, OFAC, the United States Department of State, and Her Majesty's Treasury;

  • Canadian Securities Authorities means any of the securities commissions or similar securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces and territories of Canada in which the Corporation is a reporting issuer (or analogous status);

  • customs authorities means customs authorities as defined in Article 5, point (1), of Regulation (EU) No 952/2013;

  • Securities Authority means the Ontario Securities Commission and any other applicable securities commissions or securities regulatory authority of a province or territory of Canada.

  • Sanctions Authority means any or all of: (a) the United States government; (b) the United Nations;

  • Standards Authority means NERC, and the NERC regional entities with governance over PJM and NYISO, any successor thereof, or any other agency with authority over the Parties regarding standards or criteria to either Party relating to the reliability of Transmission Systems.

  • Customs authority means the authority that is responsible under the law of a Party for the administration and enforcement of customs laws and regulations; Customs duty includes any duty or charge of any kind imposed in connection with the importation of goods, but does not include any:

  • Legislative authority means, with respect to a regional transit authority, the board of trustees thereof, and with respect to a county that is a transit authority, the board of county commissioners.

  • Taxes and Duties means all taxes, duties, fees etc. payable as per applicable laws in India in connection with the development, operation and management of the Project;

  • European Data Protection Laws means the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and data protection laws of the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and their member states and the FADP.

  • Executive Authority means the executive committee or executive mayor of the Municipality or, if the Municipality does not have an executive committee or executive mayor, a committee of councillors appointed by the Municipal Council;

  • Aeronautical authorities means, in the case of the People’s Republic of China, the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, and, in the case of the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Communications, or in the case of either of the Contracting Parties, any person or body authorized to perform any functions exercised by the said authorities.

  • OECD Country means a country that is a member of the grouping of countries that are full members of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development.

  • Authorities means the various governmental and quasi-governmental bodies or agencies having jurisdiction over Seller, the Real Property, the Improvements, or any portion thereof.

  • your authority ("eich awdurdod") means the relevant authority of which you are a member or co-opted member.

  • Antitrust Authorities means the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice, the United States Federal Trade Commission or the antitrust or competition Law authorities of any other jurisdiction (whether United States, foreign or multinational).

  • local planning authority in relation to an area means⎯

  • Administrative authority means the state or local official responsible for the administration and enforcement of this act.

  • Data Protection Officer takes the meaning given in the UK GDPR;

  • Delegated Authority means any person or committee delegated with authority by the Municipality in terms of the provisions of the Municipal Finance Management Act.

  • Corporate Authorities means the City Council of the City.

  • Local authorities means every county, municipal, and other local board or body having authority to adopt police regulations under the constitution and laws of this state.

  • Chief Commissioner s section” means a section that, immediately before the commencement, referred to action of the commissioner and after the commencement refers to action of the chief commissioner.

  • EU Data Protection Laws means EU Directive 95/46/EC, as transposed into domestic legislation of each Member State and as amended, replaced or superseded from time to time, including by the GDPR and laws implementing or supplementing the GDPR;
