Retention Facility definition

Retention Facility means a basin, depression, or other artificial structure excavated, constructed, or installed to hold stormwater flows or runoff.
Retention Facility or “Retention Pond” means a facility, which provides storage of stormwater runoff and is, designed to eliminate subsequent surface discharges. (Ord. No. 12294, § 2, 10-6-09)
Retention Facility means: A permanent natural or man-made structure that provides for the storage of storm water runoff by means of a permanent pool of water.

Retention Facility means a stormwater facility designed to store stormwater runoff for an indefinite period with the volume of stored water being reduced by evaporation, infiltration or pumped out for the irrigation of land, and which may be combined with a detention facility;
