Restricted Category Aircraft means an aircraft that meets airworthiness requirements for special purpose operations if it shows compliance to applicable noise and emissions requirements, shows no feature or characteristic that makes it unsafe when it is operated under the limitations prescribed for its intended use, and/or is the type that has been manufactured in accordance with the requirements of and accepted for use by, an Armed Force of the U.S. or the Department of National Defense and the EU Armed Forces and has been later modified for a special purpose.Note: Only the FAA has restricted category aircraft; EASA issues restricted type and airworthiness certificates.

Restricted Category Aircraft means an aircraft intended for special purpose operations that shows compliance with applicable noise and emissions requirements and shows no feature or characteristic that makes it unsafe when it is operated under the limitations prescribed for its intended use, and that the aircraft meets the airworthiness requirements of an aircraft category, except those requirements that are determined to be inappropriate for the special purpose for which the aircraft is to be used. For the FAA this may also be of a type that has been manufactured in accordance with the requirements of, and accepted for use by, an Armed Force of the United States and has been later modified for a special purpose.
Restricted Category Aircraft means an aircraft intended for a special purpose operation that:1.12.44.1 Meets applicable airworthiness requirements of an aircraft category, except those that are determined to be inappropriate for the special purpose operation; shows compliance with applicable emissions and noise requirements; and shows no feature or characteristic that makes it unsafe when it is operated under the limitations prescribed for its intended use; or1.12.44.2 For the FAA, is of a type that has been manufactured in accordance with the requirements of and accepted for use by an Armed Force of the United States and has been later modified for a special purpose; or1.12.44.3 For TCCA, an aircraft whose applicable standards of airworthiness are the design and performance requirements established by the Department of National Defence in respect of the aircraft on the date that the aircraft was accepted for use by that Department.

  • Grade point average or "GPA" means the grade point average earned by an eligible student and reported by the high school or participating institution in which the student was enrolled based on a scale of 4.0 or its equivalent if the high school or participating institution that the student attends does not use the 4.0 grade scale;

  • Service Point the place at which the Services are to be performed.
