Respect des fonds means the archival principal that is the basis of archival arrangement and description and states that records created, accumulated, and/or maintained and used by an individual or corporate body must be kept together in their original order.
Respect des fonds means the core archival principle that no subset of a creator’s archival records should be alienated from the whole, nor should it be intermixed with the records of other creators.
