Remediation Contractor definition

Remediation Contractor means any person who enters into and is carrying out a contract to cleanup, remediate, respond to or remove a release or threatened release of a contaminant and includes any person who the contractor retained or hired to provide services under a remediation contract;

More Definitions of Remediation Contractor

Remediation Contractor shall have the meaning given in Section 8.7(b).
Remediation Contractor means the final Remediation Bidder selected in accordance with this Agreement.
Remediation Contractor means such reputable and suitably qualified suitable contractor or contractors appointed to carry out the Agency’s Phase 1 Remediation Works listed at (a) in the definition or the Agency's Phase 5 Remediation Works listed at (a) in the definition as the case may be in accordance with the relevant Remediation Strategy
Remediation Contractor means a third-party person, company or entity hired to repair or replace Uponor Yellow Brass Fittings pursuant to this Agreement.

Related to Remediation Contractor

  • Remediation means any response, remedial, removal, or corrective action, any activity to cleanup, detoxify, decontaminate, contain or otherwise remediate any Hazardous Materials, Regulated Substances or USTs, any actions to prevent, cure or mitigate any Release, any action to comply with any Environmental Laws or with any permits issued pursuant thereto, any inspection, investigation, study, monitoring, assessment, audit, sampling and testing, laboratory or other analysis, or any evaluation relating to any Hazardous Materials, Regulated Substances or USTs.

  • EPC Contractor means Seller’s engineering, procurement and construction contractor or such Person performing those functions.

  • Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.

  • Prime Contractor as used in this clause, means a person who has entered into a prime contract with the United States.

  • Sub-Contractor means the person named in the Contract for any part of the works or any person to whom any part of the contract has been sublet by the contractor with the consent in writing of the Engineer-in-charge and will include the legal representatives, successors and permitted assigns of such persons.

  • O&M Contractor means the person, if any, with whom the Concessionaire has entered into an O&M Contract for discharging O&M obligations for and on behalf of the Concessionaire;

  • Remediation Costs means the cost of any action taken to reduce the concentration of contaminants on, in or under the Eligible Property to permit a record of site condition to be filed in the Environmental Site Registry under section 168.4 of the Environmental Protection Act and the cost of complying with any certificate of property use issued under section 168.6 of the Environmental Protection Act, as further specified in the CIP.

  • Major Subcontractor means a Subcontractor who enters into a Major Subcontract.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety Liabilities means any cost, damages, expense, liability, obligation or other responsibility arising from or under any Environmental Law.
