RELX means, collectively, RELX PLC and its subsidiaries. Any reference herein to the Registration Statement, the Base Prospectus, any Preliminary Prospectus or the Final Prospectus shall be deemed to refer to and include the documents incorporated by reference therein pursuant to Item 6 of Form F‑3 (including any amendments thereto) which were filed under the Exchange Act on or before the Effective Date of the Registration Statement or the issue date of the Base Prospectus, any Preliminary Prospectus or the Final Prospectus, as the case may be; and any reference herein to the terms “amend,” “amendment” or “supplement” with respect to the Registration Statement, the Base Prospectus, any Preliminary Prospectus or the Final Prospectus shall be deemed to refer to and include the filing of any document under the Exchange Act after the Effective Date of the Registration Statement or the issue date of the Base Prospectus, any Preliminary Prospectus or the Final Prospectus, as the case may be, deemed to be incorporated therein by reference. Certain terms used herein are defined in Section 22 hereof.

Examples of RELX in a sentence

• The Representatives shall have received on the Closing Date an opinion of Freshfields Bruckhaus ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ LLP, English solicitors to RELX PLC, dated the Closing Date, substantially in the form set forth in Exhibit A.

• RELX PLC is solely resident in the United Kingdom for United Kingdom tax purposes and has no branch, business establishment or other fixed or permanent establishment outside the United Kingdom.

• The individual signing below represents and warrants to ▇▇▇▇ Exhibitions, a division of RELX Inc.

• Upon termination for material breach by RELX, Supplier shall immediately cease with the delivery and/or performance under the Agreement.

• Supplier shall not list RELX on any list of its customers or use any of RELX's trademarks or service marks in its marketing material without prior written consent.

• The benefits and perquisites described in this Agreement as in effect at the date of termination of employment will also be continued for twelve (12) months from the effective date of termination pursuant to Change of Control.

• Supplier represents and warrants to RELX that it operates and maintains appropriate and up-to-date IT security systems, policies and procedures which are designed to protect its IT systems from viruses, trojan horses, spyware, worms, logic bombs or other analogous malicious code ("Malware") and so minimise the risk that Malware will be transmitted from Supplier's IT systems to RELX or to other customers or contacts, including to RELX's customers.
