Relief Pilot definition

Relief Pilot means a captain or first officer who is awarded or assigned a relief line.
Relief Pilot. “: A pilot who is fully trained to the successful completion of a IA holds a Relief Pilot position on the type and is solely for the purpose of providing in flight relief for the Captain and First Officer in order to extend flight deck duty time as per Article The relief pilot requalification program will be as approved by the Minister of Transport and will include evaluation of the piloting skills and other duties required of a pilot. Relief Pilot means a pilot who holds a Cruise Relief Pilot position on the aircraft type to which he is assigned for the sole purpose of providing in flight relief for the Captain and First Officer in order to extend flight deck duty time.

Examples of Relief Pilot in a sentence

  • A Relief Pilot shall not be required to work more than 14 shifts in any 28 day period, unless mutually agreed upon.

  • If a Relief Pilot is scheduled for less than 14 shifts in a 28 day period, no penalty shall be incurred by the Relief Pilot regarding salary and no averaging of the Relief Pilot’s time balance with previous or subsequent months.

  • A Pilot’s assigned classification of Captain, First Officer or Relief Pilot.

  • A Relief Pilot is a full-time permanent pilot who holds an assignment at a specified base.

  • When a pilot holding a First Officer monthly assignment is assigned at the request of the Company to serve as a Second Officer or Relief Pilot, he shall, in addition to his hourly base pay, receive hourly, mileage, gross weight, and overseas pay, and any other if applicable, at First rates, except as otherwise provided in this Agreement.

  • In order to avoid displacements and meet line check requirements, a selection of First Officer and/or Relief Pilot pairings will be withheld by the Company from the monthly block award process after the Captain block awards are completed.

  • Status – A Pilot’s assigned classification of Captain, First Officer or Relief Pilot.

  • Each pilot, when serving as Captain, First Officer, Second Officer, or Relief Pilot who flies on a route segment where a navigator has been or would have been required shall be paid, in addition to other rates of compensation, for each hour as follows: Captain First Officer Second Officer Pilot NOTE: pay is included in the pay rates for the A- and B-767 aircraft.

  • Relief Pilot (RP) – A Pilot who holds a Relief Pilot Position and is utilized solely for the purpose of providing in flight relief for the Captain and First Officer in order to extend flight duty time as per A25, or a status as per A20.

  • A pilot who holds a Relief Pilot Position and is utilized solely for the purpose of providing in flight relief for the Captain and First Officer in order to extend flight duty time as per Art 25, or a status as per Art 20.

Related to Relief Pilot

  • Relief Event means any of the following events or circumstances if and to the extent it interferes adversely with, or causes a failure of, the carrying out of the Design, the Construction or the Services or causes an Unavailability Event:

  • Eviction Relief Period means the term of this Agreement.

  • Covenant Relief Period means the period commencing on the First Amendment Effective Date and ending on the earlier of (i) the date on which Administrative Agent receives a Covenant Relief Period Termination Notice from the Company (this clause (i), an “Early Covenant Relief Termination”) and (ii) the day immediately following the date on which a Compliance Certificate is delivered pursuant to Section 7.02 for the Fiscal Quarter ending June 30, 2021 (such earlier date, the “Covenant Relief Period Termination Date”).

  • Transit Traffic means traffic originating on CLEC’s network that is switched and transported by AT&T-TSP and delivered to a Third Party Terminating Carrier’s network or traffic from a Third Party Originating Carrier’s network. A call that is originated or terminated by a CLEC purchasing local switching pursuant to a commercial agreement with AT&T-TSP is not considered Transit Traffic for the purposes of this Attachment. Additionally Transit Traffic does not include traffic to/from IXCs.

  • Transit Traffic MOUs means all Transit Traffic minutes of use to be billed at the Transit Traffic rate by AT&T-TSP.
