Relief Manager definition

Relief Manager means any Employee who acts in a managerial role from time to time for reasons including, but not limited to, when a Manager goes on annual leave, or if a Manager role is temporarily required to be filled to ensure day to day operational requirements are met.
Relief Manager means a member of the bargaining unit in a temporary excluded position due to maternity, parental, illness or injury leaves, vacation or operational requirement to sub up, they will not be subject to the provisions of Clause 10.3 Loss of Seniority and will continue to be a member of the bargaining unit.

  • Relief Manager — Acme Clerks assigned to duty as Relief Manager for a period of one full day or more shall be compensated at the top clerks rate plus time and one-half for hours in excess of 40 or the regular manager’s rate, whichever is the greater.

  • Members of the Union who are employed in any of the classifications covered by this Agreement and who are temporarily assigned to the work of Relief Manager shall be compensated for straight-time hours while so temporarily assigned at the Senior Journeyman's rate and overtime shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) the Senior Journeyperson's rate.
