Relief from duty definition

Relief from duty means that the rate as set out in the customs tariff schedule in the Customs Tariff Law of BiH does not apply;
Relief from duty means the temporary assignment of an employee to a status of leave with pay.

Examples of Relief from duty in a sentence

  • Relief from duty shall not be provided to personnel choosing to participate in the written examination review.

  • Relief from duty is a temporary situation and there is no loss of salary or benefits during this period.

  • Relief from duty shall be not less than eight (8) consecutive hours for employees, who are on overtime duty before regular working hours, and who have received an amount equivalent to eight (8) hours of straight time rate.

  • Relief from duty is defined as the first time an employee is given the opportunity to have a one hour break from work within their normal working area.

  • Relief from duty is a temporary situation and no relief from duty without pay shall exceed ten administrative working days in duration without the imposition of disciplinary action against the employee.

  • Relief from duty under this paragraph shall not be considered as absorption of overtime under the Agreement.
