Relative TSR definition

Relative TSR means the Company’s TSR relative to the TSR of the Peer Companies. Following the calculation of the TSR of the Company and each Peer Company for the Performance Period, the Company and each Peer Company will be ranked in order of maximum to minimum according to their respective TSR for the Performance Period. After this ranking, the percentile performance of the Company relative to the Peer Companies will be determined as follows:
Relative TSR means the Company’s TSR relative to the TSR of the companies that comprise the S&P 500 Index as of the last day of the Performance Period, expressed as a percentile.
Relative TSR means, with respect to the Performance Period, the Company’s TSR, as a percentile with respect to the range of TSRs of each of the Peer Group Companies.

Examples of Relative TSR in a sentence

  • If the INVH TSR for the Performance Period relative to the Index Return falls between the two examples set forth above, then the Relative TSR Percentage shall be determined using linear interpolation (and rounded to the nearest whole percentage point).

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event the Company TSR is negative, the vesting percentage of the Target Award shall be no more than 100 percent regardless of the Relative TSR Percentile.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Company’s TSR for the Performance Period is negative, the vesting of the portion of the RSUs corresponding to Relative TSR Percentile will be capped at Target Achievement.

  • If Unitrin’s Relative TSR Percentile Rank is less than the Target Performance Level, some or all of the Target Shares will be forfeited.

  • The Relative TSR Adjustment shall be determined based on the percentile ranking of PepsiCo’s total shareholder return for the Performance Period relative to an index of peer companies selected by the Committee, calculated in accordance with the method established by the Committee (“Relative TSR”).


More Definitions of Relative TSR

Relative TSR means the Company’s total stockholder return performance (i.e., (Ending Stock PriceBeginning Stock Price) divided by Beginning Stock Price) relative to the companies listed in the S&P 500 at the beginning of the Performance Period.
Relative TSR means the percentile ranking of the TSR of a Share in relation to the TSR of each of the Peers’ Shares, as calculated by the Committee in good faith applying a reasonable statistical method.

Relative TSR means the Company’s total stockholder return, on a percentile basis, relative to the companies comprising the S&P 1500 Information Technology Sector Index (the “Index”) with respect to the performance period for the TSR Units, weighted equally and based on the applicable 90-day volume-weighted trailing average closing prices of such constituent companies as of the beginning and end of such performance period (adjusted for dividends); provided that members of the Index will only be taken into account for purposes of the calculation of Relative TSR if they constitute part of the Index at both the beginning and the end of the performance period.
Relative TSR means the percentile rank (from 0%ile for the lowest to 100%ile for the highest) of Avnet’s Total Shareholder Return compared to the individual total shareholder return of each company in the S&P MidCap 400 Information Technology Index, including Avnet, over the 3-year Performance Period (the “Technology Index”).
