Regulatory Asset Base (RAB) definition
Regulatory Asset Base (RAB) means the total capital value of the assets used to calculate the costs of the regulated services.
Regulatory Asset Base (RAB) means the net value of water authorities’ assets used in the provision of water supply and sanitation services. It is sometimes referred to as the rate base.
Regulatory Asset Base (RAB) means the total cost to be depreciated over the economic life of the asset and shall include Capital Costs (excluding grants), lenders fees and commissions, interest during construction, the initial debt service reserve account value, development costs and any withholding tax applied and grossed up on interest paid to the lenders prior to the Commercial Operation Date (COD).
