RECs definition

RECs means all of the Certificates and any and all other Environmental Attributes associated with the Products or otherwise produced by the Facility which satisfy the RPS for a RPS Class I Renewable Generation Unit, and shall represent title to and claim over all Environmental Attributes associated with the specified MWh of generation from such RPS Class I Renewable Generation Unit.
RECs means any credits, credit certificates, green tags or similar environmental or green energy attributes (such as those for greenhouse reduction or the generation of green power or renewable energy) created by a governmental agency or independent certification board or group generally recognized in the electric power generation industry, and generated by or associated with the System or electricity produced therefrom, but excluding the Grants and ITC.
RECs means all of the Certificates and any and all other Environmental Attributes associated with the Products or otherwise produced by the Facility which conform with the eligibility criteria set forth in the applicable Rhode Island regulations and are eligible to satisfy the Renewable Energy Standard, and shall represent title to and claim over all Environmental Attributes associated with the specified MWh of generation from such Newly Developed Renewable Energy Resource.

RECs means any and all renewable energy credits, renewable energy or green certificates, green tags, and other fuel, emissions, air quality, or other environmental characteristics, credits, benefits, reductions, offsets, and allowances arising out of any applicable law or out of any voluntary rules, guidelines, or programs, including any such applicable law or voluntary rule, guideline, or program relating to any avoided, reduced, displaced, or off-set emissions of sulfur dioxides (SOx), nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), mercury (Hg), soot, particulates, carbon dioxide (CO2), and any other greenhouse gas (GHG) or pollutant that is now or may in the future be regulated under applicable laws or any voluntary rules, guidelines, or programs.
RECs means all right, title, interest and benefit in and to any credit, reduction right, offset, allocated pollution right, emission reduction allowance, renewable attribute or other proprietary or contractual right, whether or not tradable, resulting from the actual or assumed displacement or reduction of emissions, or other environmental characteristic, from the production of one MWh of electrical energy from a facility utilizing certified renewable energy technology.
