Recruiting Site definition

Recruiting Site means a site participating in the conduct of a Clinical Study reviewed through CTO SRERS, and which authorizes a REB Host Institution to act as REB of Record on its behalf, in accordance with the Inter-Institutional Agreement, as set out in Schedule E.
Recruiting Site means a Participating Organization that is participating in the conduct of a specific Study and has authorized the REB of the REB Host Institution to act as the REB of Record for such Study. New Participating Organizations Each Participating Organization acknowledges and confirms that following the execution of this IIA by the Participating Organization, an institution (each, a “New PO”) may enter into a Participation Agreement with CTO and in conjunction with the foregoing, will be required to enter into this IIA. To do so, such New PO must execute and deliver to CTO a signature page to this IIA. From and after its date of signature (the “NPO Execution Date”), such New PO will become a party to this IIA and, from and after the NPO Execution Date, have the same rights, benefits and obligations as a Participating Organization party hereto prior to the NPO Execution Date. Each New PO expressly acknowledges, confirms and agrees that it is a “Party” and a “Participating Organization” under this IIA and bound by the terms and conditions of this IIA effective as of the NPO Execution Date. All references to “Party” or “Participating Organization” will be deemed to include the New PO from and after the NPO Execution Date. In the event of the execution of a signature page to this IIA by any New PO, except with respect to the addition of the New PO, the IIA remains unchanged and continues in full force and effect.

  • The Recruiting Site shall inform REB Host Institution of the appropriate Recruiting Site representative to be copied on key correspondence (including but not limited to notification of approvals) from the REB Host Institution in addition to the Recruiting Site PI.* The Recruiting Site shall maintain a FWA, as required.

  • The Recruiting Site will notify the REB of Record and Recruiting Site’s PI if it suspends or terminates institutional approval for a Study.* For greater certainty, although the REB of Record may approve the ethical aspects of a Study, the final decision to conduct a Study at the Recruiting Site rests with the Recruiting Site.

  • The Recruiting Site shall administratively assess and approve the Study.

  • PO’s participation in the CTO SRERS may include the PO acting as an REB Host Institution for certain Clinical Studies in accordance with this Agreement, wherein the PO may also act as a Recruiting Site.

  • The Recruiting Site will notify the Recruiting Site PI if it is unable to approve a Study.

  • Recruiting Site shall promptly report to REB Host Institution’s REB any information that would indicate that their qualifications or those of any of the research team are no longer appropriate to the Study.

  • Recruiting Site agrees to assume full responsibility for the scientific and ethical conduct of the Study at the Recruiting Site.

  • In signing this IIA, the Participating Organization agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below, in their role as a Recruiting Site and / or REB Host Institution, as applicable.

  • Recruiting Site certifies that it will comply with all REB Host Institution’s REB determinations with respect to the Study and obtain REB Host Institution’s REB approval and all applicable institutional authorizations prior to commencing the Study.

  • Personnel means persons hired by the Consultant or by any Subconsultant as employees and assigned to the performance of the Services or any part thereof;

It is also intended to cover processes designed to prepare qualifiable applicants (those who have the potential but do not pres- ently meet valid qualification require- ments) for such job openings through Office of Personnel Management § 720.204 programs of training, work experience or both.

  • Training means instruction or teaching designed to impart a specific skill, as opposed to general knowledge.

  • operating site means a site, other than an aerodrome, selected by the operator or pilot-in-command or commander for landing, take-off and/or external load operations;

  • Supplier Personnel means Supplier’s employees, consultants, agents, independent contractors and Subcontractors.

  • Team means a team affiliated to a Club, including where a Club provides more than one team in the Competition in accordance with the Rules.

  • Senior Management Personnel means personnel of the company who are members of its core management team excluding Board of Directors. Normally, this would comprise all members of management one level below the executive directors, including all functional heads.

  • Client Content means any content, materials, data and information, including Personal Information that Client or its Authorized Users enter into the SaaS Services or is otherwise uploaded by or on behalf of Client to the SaaS Services. Client Content shall not include any component of the SaaS Services or material or data provided by or on behalf of Accenture or its licensors.

  • Contractor Personnel means Contractor’s employees and subcontractors (as well as any employees or subcontractors of those subcontractors) performing the Services.

  • Worksite means the geographical area of the Project location where the Work is to be performed.

  • Subcontractor employee, as used in this clause, means any officer, partner, employee, or agent of a subcontractor.

  • Campsite means any place where any bedding, sleeping bag, or other material used for bedding purposes, or any stove or fire is placed, established or maintained for the purpose of maintaining a temporary place to live, whether or not such place incorporates the use of any tent, lean-to, shack, or any other structure, or any vehicle or part thereof.

  • Originating site means a site where a patient is located at the time health care services are provided via telecommunications system or where the asynchronous store and forward service originates.

  • Educational personnel means persons who must meet requirements pursuant to state law as a condition of employment in educational programs.

  • Time Worked means time during which an employee is performing labor or services for the benefit of an employer, including all time s/he is suffered or permitted to work, whether or not required to do so.

  • Company Personnel means any current or former officer, employee, director or consultant of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • Student Generated Content means materials or content created by a student in the services including, but not limited to, essays, research reports, portfolios, creative writing, music or other audio files, photographs, videos, and account information that enables ongoing ownership of student content.

  • Company's Personnel means the personnel to be provided by OIL or OIL's Contractor (other than the Contractor executing the Contract). The Company representatives of OIL are also included in the Company's personnel.

  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children means: • Protecting children from maltreatment• Preventing impairment of children’s mental or physical health or development• Ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care• Taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes

  • Trained personnel means knowledgeable in the following through instruction and/or practice:

  • Supplier’s Team means the Supplier and, where applicable, any Relevant Person, and all other employees, consultants, agents and sub-contractors which the Supplier engages in any way in relation to the supply of the Services or the Goods; and

  • Training program means an NCA-approved Iowa college, the Iowa law enforcement academy or an Iowa hospital approved by the department to conduct emergency medical care training.

  • Assistive technology service means any service that directly assists a child with a disability in the selection, acquisition, or use of an assistive technology device. The term includes:

  • Title IX Personnel means any person who addresses, works on, or assists with the school district’s response to a report of sexual harassment or formal complaint, and includes persons who facilitate informal resolutions. The following are considered Title IX Personnel:

  • School personnel means professional employee or professional’s delegate of the school district who provides health, educational, social, psychological, law enforcement, or child care services.
