Rebuilt title definition

Rebuilt title means the passenger motor vehicle ownership document issued by any state to the owner of a rebuilt vehicle. Ownership of the passenger motor vehicle may be transferred on a rebuilt title, and a passenger motor vehicle for which a rebuilt title has been issued may be registered for use on the roads and highways. A rebuilt title shall be conspicuously labeled with the words “Rebuilt Vehicle--Anti-Theft Inspections Passed” across the front (T.C.A. § 55-3-211(6)).
Rebuilt title means an Arkansas certificate of title issued to the owner of a rebuilt or reconstructed motor vehicle, as defined herein, that bears the notation “REBUILT” printed in the remarks section on the face of the title.

Examples of Rebuilt title in a sentence

  • For example, a Vehicle registered in BC with a Rebuilt title brand will automatically be given a Salvage title brand when the Vehicle is registered in Ontario.

  • This Contract does not cover any Vehicle that has been issued a Salvage or Rebuilt title, unless the appropriate Salvage/Rebuilt Coverage Option is selected in the Application Page, and the appropriate surcharge has been paid.

  • If You purchased the Salvage/Rebuilt Vehicle Option, as shown on Your Identification Card and in the Options box on the Application Page of this Contract, You have Coverage in accordance with the applicable terms of this Contract for a Vehicle that has ever had a Salvage or Rebuilt title.

  • Salvage/Rebuilt Vehicle Coverage Option (Surcharge Applies) – If You purchased the Salvage/Rebuilt Vehicle Option, as shown on Your Identification Card and in the Options box on the Application Page of this Contract, You have Coverage in accordance with the applicable terms of this Contract for a Vehicle that has ever had a Salvage or Rebuilt title.
