Rebates definition

Rebates means rebates, price reductions and administrative fees and related adjustments charged by or payments to state Medicaid and other federal, state and local governmental programs and their participants, and by health plans, insurance companies, Medicare Part D prescription drug plans, pharmacy benefits managers, mail service pharmacies, long term care providers, specialty pharmacies and other health care providers based upon the utilization and sales of the Product, and service, administrative and inventory management fees due to wholesalers, distributors and group purchasing organizations based on sales of the Product (in each case, other than chargeback claims).
Rebates means discounts granted to single Residential Properties valued from R1 and up to R500 000. Residential Sectional Title Properties, guesthouses, old age homes and hostels are excluded. Properties at a R0 value will only start to qualify for a Rebate from the time that it has been valued by the Valuations Department Rebates do not apply to Vacant Land and Non-Residential Properties.
Rebates means any discounts, direct or indirect subsidies, rebates, other price concessions and/or direct or indirect remunerations that a Plan Sponsor has elected to apply or take into account in arriving at the Negotiated Price and/or to pass through at the point of sale for a Covered Drug, including, but not limited to, estimated or actual rebates paid by drug manufacturers or Affiliate Rebate Partner.
