Rearer definition

Rearer means a person engaged in rearing silkworms for the production of silkworm cocoons, whether for reproduction or reeling;
Rearer means a person engaged by the breeder for the purpose of rearing of the greyhound pups including education until such time as they are to be named.
Rearer means a person who takes possession and thereby assumes responsibility for a greyhound pup for the purpose of rearing and education, from the time the pup has been vaccinated, microchipped and earbranded until such time as the greyhound is transferred to a trainer’s racing kennel.

  • If the percentage of the Replacement Heifers in-calf at the end of the breeding season shall be less than the percentage specified at Clause 5 of the First Schedule in this agreement, then the Contract Rearer shall accept the penalty set out in that Clause.
