Rates of Interest definition

Rates of Interest means, in respect of any Series and Class of Notes, the rate or rates (expressed as a percentage per annum) on interest payable in respect of such Notes specified in the applicable Final Terms or calculated and determined in accordance with the applicable Final Terms;
Rates of Interest means the rate specified in the applicable Final Terms as the “Rate(s) of Interest”;
Rates of Interest have the meanings indicated in Condition 4(C);

Examples of Rates of Interest in a sentence

  • Each Fixed Rate Note bears interest from (and including) the Interest Commencement Date at the rate(s) per annum equal to the Rate(s) of Interest.

  • Each Fixed Rate Note bears interest on its outstanding nominal amount (or, if it is a Partly Paid Note, the amount paid up) from (and including) the Interest Commencement Date at the rate(s) per annum equal to the Rate(s) of Interest.

  • In particular, the applicable Final Terms will specify the Interest Commencement Date, the Rate(s) of Interest, the Interest Payment Date(s), the Maturity Date, the Fixed Coupon Amount, any applicable Broken Amount, the Calculation Amount, the Day Count Fraction and any applicable Determination Date.

  • If any Margin is specified hereon (either (x) generally, or (y) in relation to one or more Interest Accrual Periods), an adjustment shall be made to all Rates of Interest, in the case of (x), or the Rates of Interest for the specified Interest Accrual Periods, in the case of (y), calculated in accordance with Condition 5(b) above by adding (if a positive number) or subtracting the absolute value (if a negative number) of such Margin, subject always to the next paragraph.

  • Each Fixed Rate Note bears interest on its outstanding nominal amount from (and including) the Interest Commencement Date at the rate(s) per annum equal to the Rate(s) of Interest.

  • If any Margin is specified hereon (either (x) generally, or (y) in relation to one or more Interest Accrual Periods), an adjustment shall be made to all Rates of Interest, in the case of (x), or the Rates of Interest for the specified Interest Accrual Periods, in the case of (y), calculated in accordance with (b) above by adding (if a positive number) or subtracting the absolute value (if a negative number) of such Margin, subject always to the next paragraph.

  • If the Index-Linked Interest Note Provisions are specified in the relevant Final Terms as being applicable, the Rate(s) of Interest applicable to the Notes for each Interest Period will be determined in the manner specified in the relevant Final Terms.

  • Party responsible for calculating the Rate(s) of Interest and Interest Amount(s) (if not the Calculation Agent): Not applicable.

  • Each Fixed Rate Covered Bond bears interest from (and including) the Interest Commencement Date at the rate(s) per annum equal to the Rate(s) of Interest.

  • Each Fixed Rate Covered Bond bears interest on its Principal Amount Outstanding from (and including) the Interest Commencement Date at the rate(s) per annum equal to the Rate(s) of Interest.


More Definitions of Rates of Interest

Rates of Interest means the rates of interest payable in respect of the Notes, each a Rate of Interest as specified in Condition 4(C) (Rates of Interest) and "Rate of Interest" means any of the Rates of Interest.

Related to Rates of Interest

  • Arrears of Interest means as at any date in respect of any Loan, interest (other than Capitalized Interest or Accrued Interest) on that Loan which is currently due and payable and unpaid on that date;

  • Fixed Rate of Interest means the rate of interest payable from time to time in respect of a Fixed Rate Tier 1 BCN or during the Fixed Interest Rate Period in respect of a Fixed/Floating Rate Tier 1 BCN and that is either specified in the relevant Pricing Schedule or calculated in accordance with the provisions in the relevant Pricing Schedule.

  • Rate of Interest means the rate of interest payable from time to time in respect of this Note and that is either specified or calculated in accordance with the provisions hereon.

  • Reset Rate of Interest means, in relation to a Reset Interest Period, the 7-year Mid-Swap Rate determined for such Reset Interest Period by the Fiscal Agent in accordance with Condition 5 (Interest);

  • Calculation of Interest Interest on the Notes (including interest for partial periods) will be calculated on the basis of a 360-day year of twelve 30-day months. (Examples of interest calculations are as follows: October 1, 1998 to April 1, 1999 equals 6 months and 0 days, or 180 days; the interest paid equals 180/360 times the annual rate of interest times the principal amount of the Note. The period from December 3, 1998 to April 1, 1999 equals 3 months and 28 days, or 118 days; the interest payable equals 118/360 times the annual rate of interest times the principal amount of the Note.)

  • Prime Rate of Interest means the prime rate of interest published from time to time in the Wall Street Journal as the prime rate; provided, however that if the Wall Street Journal does not publish the Prime Rate of Interest, then the term “Prime Rate of Interest” shall mean the rate of interest publicly announced by Bank of America, N.A., as its Prime Rate, Base Rate, Reference Rate or the equivalent of such rate, whether or not such bank makes loans to customers at, above, or below said rate.

  • Initial Rate of Interest means the initial rate of interest per annum specified as such in the relevant Final Terms;

  • Interest when used with respect to an Original Issue Discount Security which by its terms bears interest only after Maturity, means interest payable after Maturity.

  • Default Rate of Interest means a rate of interest per annum on any Obligations hereunder, equal to the sum of: (a) two percent (2%) and (b) the applicable increment over the Base Rate (as set forth in paragraph 8.1 hereof) plus the Base Rate, which the Lender shall be entitled to charge the Companies on all Obligations due the Lender by the Companies, as further set forth in Paragraph 10.2 of Section 10 of this Financing Agreement.

  • Identity of Interest means a situation in which a Project Participant has a direct or indirect interest in the ownership of an entity which contracts with a Project Participant to provide land, goods, loans, financial support, or services for the project or where there is a financial, familial, or business relationship that permits less than arm’s length transactions.

  • Interest Rate Cap Provider if any, shall mean the entity listed as the Interest Rate Cap Provider in the Series Term Sheet, in its capacity as obligor under the Class Interest Rate Caps, or if any Replacement Class Interest Rate Caps or Qualified Substitute Cap Arrangements are obtained pursuant to Section 15, the obligor with respect to such Replacement Class Interest Rate Caps or Qualified Substitute Cap Arrangements.

  • Interest Rate Period means that period of time for which the interest rate with respect to the Bonds has been determined by the Remarketing Agent or otherwise as provided in the definition of the applicable Interest Rate Mode, commencing on the applicable Interest Rate Adjustment Date, and terminating on the day immediately preceding the following Interest Rate Adjustment Date, if any.

  • Fixed Rate Security means a Security which provides for the payment of interest at a fixed rate.

  • Interest Rate Contracts means all interest rate swap agreements, interest rate cap agreements, interest rate collar agreements and interest rate insurance.

  • Periodic Interest means, with respect to any Payment Date, the periodic interest for such Payment Date as specified in the Series Supplement.

  • Interest Rate shall have the meaning assigned to such term or analogous term in the Mortgage Loan Agreement.

  • Interest Rate Option means any LIBOR Rate Option or Base Rate Option.

  • Interest Basis has the meaning given to it in the applicable Final Terms;

  • Interest Rate Cap means a Cap.

  • Selected Interest Rates as the Bank prime loan rate or its equivalent), and (ii) the Federal Funds Rate plus 50 basis points per annum. Each change in any interest rate provided for in the Agreement based upon the Index Rate shall take effect at the time of such change in the Index Rate.

  • Floating Rate Security means a Debt Security that provides for the payment of interest at a variable rate determined periodically by reference to an interest rate index specified pursuant to Section 2.03.

  • Fixed Rate Notes Together, the Class A-2 Notes, the Class A-3 Notes, the Class A-4 Notes, the Class B Notes, the Class C Notes, the Class D Notes and the Class E Notes.

  • Fixed Rate Note means any Class A-1 Note, Class A-2a Note, Class A-3 Note or Class A-4 Note.

  • Original Issue Discount Debt Security means any Debt Security which provides for an amount less than the principal amount thereof to be due and payable upon a declaration of acceleration of the maturity thereof pursuant to Section 6.01.

  • Proof of Interest means a proof of Interest Filed against any of the Debtors in the Chapter 11 Cases.

  • Periodic Interest Rate Cap As to each adjustable rate Mortgage Loan, the maximum increase or decrease in the Mortgage Interest Rate on any Adjustment Date pursuant to the terms of the Mortgage Note.
