Ranbaxy means: Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd., its directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns; and its joint ventures, subsidiaries, divisions, groups and affiliates in each case controlled by Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. (including, without limitation, Ohm Laboratories, Inc.), and the respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns of each.

Ranbaxy includes defendants Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Ranbaxy Inc., and Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. (collectively, “Ranbaxy”). “Teva” includes defendants Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. and Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. (collectively, “Teva”). “Xx. Xxxxx’x” includes defendants Xx. Xxxxx’x Laboratories, Ltd. and Xx. Xxxxx’x Laboratories, Inc. (collectively, “Xx. Xxxxx’x”). Plaintiffs in the lawsuit claim that Defendants hurt competition and violated state laws in Arizona, California, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia by unlawfully delaying the availability of allegedly less expensive generic versions of Nexium.
