Race or Ethnic Group means (a) White (not of Hispanic origin) persons with origins in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East such as Canadians, Italians, Arabs, and so forth; (b) Black (not of Hispanic origin) persons with origins in Africa such as Black Puerto Ricans, Jamaicans, Nigerians, Haitians, and so forth and who may identify themselves as "Black" or "Negro" or "African-American;" (c) American Indian persons with origins in American Indian tribes such as Canadian Indians, Spanish American Indians, and French-American Indians; (d) Eskimo persons with origins in North America such as Arctic Slop and Yupik; (e) Aleut persons with origins in the Americas

  • Gender identity or expression means a person's gender-related identity, appearance or behavior, whether or not that gender-related identity, appearance or behavior is different from that traditionally associated with the person's physiology or assigned sex at birth, which gender-related identity can be shown by providing evidence including, but not limited to, medical history, care or treatment of the gender-related identity, consistent and uniform assertion of the gender-related identity or any other evidence that the gender-related identity is sincerely held, part of a person's core identity or not being asserted for an improper purpose.

  • Religious organization means a church, ecclesiastical corporation, or group, not organized for pecuniary profit, that gathers for mutual support and edification in piety or worship of a supreme deity.
