Quota exchange definition

Quota exchange means the mechanism operated by DFO on a monthly basis which provides all producers with an opportunity to sell or buy quota by matching supply and demand for quota at a bid or offer price.
Quota exchange means a mechanism to be operated by the Board for the purchase and sale of daily quota held by milk producers as established in Dairy Farm- ers of Prince Edward Island Orders.
