Qualified Savings Plan definition

Qualified Savings Plan means the United Technologies Corporation Employee Savings Plan until the Spin-off date and means the Carrier Retirement Savings Plan from and after the Spin-off date.
Qualified Savings Plan means the SPX Corporation Retirement Savings and Stock Ownership Plan and each predecessor, successor or replacement to the said Qualified Plan.
Qualified Savings Plan means a defined contribution plan qualified under Code section 401(a) whose trust or other funding arrangement is exempt from tax under Code section 501, and which is acceptable to the Committee, in its discretion, for purposes of the transfer of assets from such plan to this Plan or the transfer of assets from this Plan to such plan.

Examples of Qualified Savings Plan in a sentence

  • An Eligible Employee who has elected to make a deferral for a Year under this Supplemental Savings Plan shall be precluded from modifying his or her rate of contributions to the Qualified Savings Plan for that Year after the date on which his or her Deferral Agreement for that Year (including any continuing Deferral Agreement) has become irrevocable under Section 1 of this Article III.
