PVC casing definition

PVC casing means polyvinyl chloride casing as specified in ASTM Standard F480-14 (2014, Thermoplastic Well Casing Pipe) that is clearly marked by the manufacturer as “well casing”.

Examples of PVC casing in a sentence

  • Sub main wiring shall be carried out with 1100 Volts Grade single core PVC insulated and unsheathed multistranded copper conductor conforming to IS - 694 drawn through and including PVC casing capping double tock type or non-metallic rigid PVC conduit 20 mm dia medium grade ISI marked and conduit accessories conforming to IS-34196 along with 4 ▇▇.▇▇ PVC insulated copper conductor earth wire.

  • All ▇▇▇▇▇ shall be constructed of a 2-inch I.D., flush-joint, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) casing with a 0.020-inch slotted well screen and installed so that the top of the well screen is set at least two feet above the observed groundwater table.

  • The driller shall place a 2-inch-diameter PVC casing with a 10-foot-long, 0.010-inch slotted screen interval in each boring.

  • All monitoring ▇▇▇▇▇ will be constructed of two-inch PVC casing with 0.1-inch slotted PVC well screening across the water table.

  • Casing: Provide steel casing, 12 inches greater in diameter than wrapped cylinder and proper depth to retain hole and provide structural integrity of PVC casing.

  • The hollow stem auger was retracted, exposing the screen section of the PVC casing.

  • After groundwater samples were collected the PVC casing was removed and steam cleaned before being re-used.

  • The ▇▇▇▇▇ will be drilled using hollow-stem augers and will be constructed with a 10-foot 0.010”-slotted 2-inch PVC screen and PVC casing, and fitted with a locking cap and flushmount protective cover.

  • A 2-inch to 3- inch diameter PVC casing will be installed in the borehole.

  • Installation: Set cylinder and PVC casing within steel casing and backfill between all voids with clean dry neutral silica sand, well tamped.

  • Casing means a pipe or tubing of appropriate material, of varying diameter and weight, lowered into a borehole during or after drilling in order to support the sides of the hole and thus prevent the walls from caving, to prevent loss of drilling mud into porous ground, or to prevent water, gas, or other fluid from entering or leaving the hole.

  • Sewage sludge weight means the weight of sewage sludge, in dry U.S. tons, including admixtures such as liming materials or bulking agents. Monitoring frequencies for sewage sludge parameters are based on the reported sludge weight generated in a calendar year (use the most recent calendar year data when the NPDES permit is up for renewal).

  • Loop Concentrator/Multiplexer or "LCM" is the Network Element that does one or more of the following: aggregates lower bit rate or bandwidth signals to higher bit rate or bandwidth signals (multiplexing); disaggregates higher bit rate or bandwidth signals to lower bit rate or bandwidth signals (demultiplexing); aggregates a specified number of signals or channels to fewer channels (concentrating); performs signal conversion, including encoding of signals (e.g., analog to digital and digital to analog signal conversion); or in some instances performs electrical to optical (E/O) conversion. LCM includes DLC, and D4 channel banks and may be located in Remote Terminals or Central Offices.

  • Diameter at Breast Height (DBH) means the diameter of the trunk of a mature tree generally measured at a point four and a half feet above ground level from the uphill side of the tree. For species of trees where the main trunk divides below the 4 ½ foot height, the DBH shall be measured at the highest point before any division.

  • Air dried coating means a coating that is dried by the use of air or forced warm air at temperatures up to 1940F (900C).
