Put Business Day definition

Put Business Day means a day on which banks are open for general business (including dealings in foreign currencies) in New York City, London and the place of presentation;
Put Business Day. ’ means a day on which commercial banks and foreign exchange markets settle payments and are open for general business (including dealings in foreign exchange and foreign currency deposits) in New York, London, Luxembourg and the Russian Federation and in the place of presentation;

  • Any Note which is the subject of a Put Option Exercise Notice and which has been delivered to the Principal Paying Agent or other Paying Agent prior to the expiry of the Put Period, shall be, subject to receipt of the relevant monies from the Borrower, redeemed by the Issuer on the date which is the fifteenth Put Business Day (as defined below) immediately following the last day of the Put Period (the “Put Settlement Date”).

  • non-business day means Saturday, Sunday and any other day that is a holiday as defined in the Interpretation Act (Canada);

  • Grace Period Business Day means a day on which commercial banks and foreign exchange markets are generally open to settle payments in the place or places and on the days specified for that purpose in the relevant Obligation and if a place or places are not so specified, in the jurisdiction of the Obligation Currency.

  • Currency Business Day means a day on which commercial banks and foreign exchange markets are open for general business (including dealings in foreign exchange and foreign currency deposits) in the principal financial centre of the Relevant Currency or, in the case of euros, a city in which banks in general have access to the TARGET2 System.

  • New York Business Day means each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday which is not a day on which banking institutions in New York City are generally authorized or obligated by law or executive order to close.

  • Hong Kong Business Day means a day (other than a Saturday or Sunday) on which banks in Hong Kong are open for normal business, provided that where as a result of a number 8 typhoon signal, black rainstorm warning or other similar event, the period during which banks in Hong Kong are open on any day is reduced, such day shall not be a Hong Kong Business Day unless the Manager and the Depositary determine otherwise or such other day or days as the Manager and the Depositary may determine.

  • Canadian Business Day means a day of the year on which banks are not required or authorized by law to close in Toronto, Ontario or in Mxxxxxxx, Xxxxxx, Xxxxxx or New York, New York.
