Proxy ID definition

Proxy ID means the identifiers which may be accepted by HKICL for registration in the Addressing Service to identify the account of a customer of a Participant, including the mobile phone number or email address of the customer, or the FPS Identifier.

Proxy ID means the proxy identifier registered by a customer of a Participant in the Addressing Service to identify the account of that customer with that Participant. Such proxy identifier can be registered by more than one Participant on behalf of their customers where allowed pursuant to the FPS Operating Procedures.

Examples of Proxy ID in a sentence

  • The customer must be the present genuine owner or authorised user of each Proxy ID and each account provided to the Bank for registration in the Addressing Service and the eDDA Service.

  • The customer should not request the Bank to register any Proxy ID or set up any eDDA for the customer and should not initiate any payment or funds transfer using the HKICL FPS unless the customer accepts the provisions of this Part.1c.

  • In order to use the Addressing Service to receive payment or funds transfer using HKICL FPS, the customer has to register the customer’s Proxy ID in the HKICL FPS.

Related to Proxy ID
