Proven Design definition

Proven Design means, as used here, those technologies that have been successfully deployed in day-to-day service in rail transit applications in North America.
Proven Design means the design of the Electrical Multiple Units and the associated equipments,/assemblies system which have been in service for 200 car sets during the preceding 10 years and at the time of submitting the above design to the Engineer, at least 50% of the above 200 car sets of which should have been in service for 5 years in a country other than the country of manufacture.”
Proven Design means the Contractor satisfies Category 1 and the Contractor or Sub-Contractors satisfy the Category 2 as indicated below:

Examples of Proven Design in a sentence

  • As a minimum the Tenderer must demonstrate clear understanding toward the Employer’s Requirements and present the proposal in such a way as to demonstrate the Technical Proposal offered by the Tenderer shall be compliant to the functionality, performance and safety requirements by reflecting on the prior stated factors of Service Proven Design and with similar reliability and availability characteristics as aforesaid in the Tenderer’s Service Experience submissions.

  • Development Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.

  • Interconnection Feasibility Study means either a Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study or Transmission Interconnection Feasibility Study.

  • Development Application means the development application identified in Item 5 of Schedule 1 and includes all plans, reports models, photomontages, material boards (as amended supplemented) submitted to the consent authority before the determination of that Development Application.
