Protected Speech definition

Protected Speech means all speech other than certain limited exceptions such as obscenity, incitement of imminent violence, and defamation.
Protected Speech means verbal or written communications intended to convey a noncommercial political, religious, philosophical or other similar message to the public, and includes distributing literature, seeking petition signatures, picketing, demonstrating, carrying or displaying signs, billboards, posters and similar messaging, artistic performance, or other activities recognized by the courts as entitled to protection under federal or Washington constitutions.
Protected Speech means the form of speech protected under this Bill. It shall extend to novel forms of conversation introduced by digital mediums which include but are not restricted to;

  • protected species means any of the following animals:

  • Protected Information means PHI provided by CE to BA or created, maintained, received or transmitted by BA on CE’s behalf.

  • Protected Person means: (i) the members of the Board; (ii) the Administrator and its Affiliates; (iii) any Member; (iv) any Officer; or (v) any Person who serves at the request of the Board on behalf of the Company as an officer, director, partner, member, stockholder or employee of any other Person.
