Proposing definition

Proposing. This phase is identical to the proposing phase of WTS. The only difference is that a correct proposer and acceptor refuse to process any message that contains a value without an attached proof of safety.

Examples of Proposing in a sentence

  • In addition to the requirements of this Section 2.4 with respect to any business proposed to be brought before an annual meeting, each Proposing Person shall comply with all applicable requirements of the Exchange Act with respect to any such business.

Related to Proposing

  • Proposing Person means (1) the Record Stockholder providing the notice of business proposed to be brought before an annual meeting or nomination of persons for election to the Board at a stockholder meeting, (2) the beneficial owner or beneficial owners, if different, on whose behalf the notice of business proposed to be brought before the annual meeting or nomination of persons for election to the Board at a stockholder meeting is made, and (3) any Associated Person on whose behalf the notice of business proposed to be brought before the annual meeting or nomination of persons for election to the Board at a stockholder meeting is made;

  • Proposer means a contractor that submits a response to a request for proposal, request for bid, or request for quotation.

  • Proposer(s means the individuals or business entities, if any, submitting a Proposal in response to this RFP.

  • Proposal means the Technical Proposal and the Financial Proposal.

  • Proponent means the legal entity which has signed the Proposal Form, and “proponent” means any proponent responding to the RFP, excluding or including the Proponent, as the context requires.

  • Ballot proposition means a question, issue, or proposal that is submitted to voters

  • Responsive Proposal means a Proposal that complies with the material provisions of this RFP.

  • Third Party Offer has the meaning set out in Section 6.4;

  • Unsolicited proposal means a written proposal for a public-private initiative that is submitted by a private entity for the purpose of entering into an agreement with the department but that is not in response to a formal solicitation or request issued by the department.

  • Proponents means the Debtors and the Committee as proponents of the Plan.

  • Offeror means a Person who has announced a current intention to make or is making a Take-over Bid.

  • Alternative Proposal has the meaning set forth in Section 6.2(b).

  • Identity Theft means a fraud committed or attempted using the identifying information of another person without authority.

  • Initiating Holders means, collectively, Holders who properly initiate a registration request under this Agreement.

  • Soliciting means and include any one or more of the following activities:

  • Objects means the Objects of the Club in clause 3.

  • Selling and "SELLS" shall refer to the act of selling or disposing of for value.

  • Requesting Holders shall have the meaning given in Section 2.1.5.

  • Proposed Purchaser shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.7(a).

  • Integration Proponent means in relation to an Integration Agreement, "the Company" or "the Joint Venturers" as the case may be as defined in, and for the purpose of, that Integration Agreement; "iron ore" includes, without limitation, beneficiated ore; "laws relating to native title" means laws applicable from time to time in the said State in respect of native title and includes the Native Xxxxx Xxx 0000 (Commonwealth);

  • Piggyback Notice has the meaning specified in Section 2.02(a).
