Vicious animal means any animal which has previously attacked or bitten any person or which has behaved in such a manner that the person who harbors said animal knows or should reasonably know that the animal is possessed of tendencies to attack or bite persons.
Propagation means reproduction sufficient to maintain the species’ role in its respective ecological community.
Dispersion technique means a method that attempts to affect the concentration of a pollutant in the ambient air other than by the use of pollution abatement equipment or integral process pollution controls.
Operator Restriction of Use means a Restriction of Use of the type referred to in paragraph 2.3;
Substance use disorder means a cluster of cognitive, behavioral, and physiological symptoms indicating that an individual continues using the substance despite significant substance-related problems. The diagnosis of a substance use disorder is based on a pathological pattern of behaviors related to the use of the substances.
Criminal history means the list of a defendant's prior convictions and juvenile adjudications, whether in this state, in federal court, or elsewhere.
Restriction of Use means any restriction of use of all or any part of the Network for the purposes of, or in connection with, inspection, maintenance, renewal or repair of the Network or any other works carried out in relation to the Network or any other railway asset or any other works in relation to it;
Step therapy protocol means a protocol or program that establishes the specific sequence in which prescription drugs for a specified medical condition, and medically appropriate for a particular patient, are covered by a health plan issuer or health benefit plan.
Debilitating medical condition means one or more of the following:
Wild animal means any mammal, bird, fish, or other creature of a wild nature endowed with sensation and the power of voluntary motion.
Speech or language impairment means a communication disorder, such as stuttering, impaired articulation, a language impairment, or a voice impairment, that adversely affects a child’s educational performance.
Type 3 Restriction of Use means a single Restriction of Use of more than 120 consecutive hours (including any part of that Restriction of Use which occurs during a Public Holiday);
Kyoto Protocol means the protocol to the UNFCCC adopted at the Third Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC in Kyoto, Japan on 11 December 1997 as may be amended;
Diatomaceous earth filtration means a process resulting in substantial particulate removal in which (i) a precoat cake of diatomaceous earth filter media is deposited on a support membrane (septum), and (ii) while the water is filtered by passing through the cake on the septum, additional filter media known as body feed is continuously added to the feed water to maintain the permeability of the filter cake.
Behavioral therapy means any interactive therapy derived from evidence-based research, including, without limitation, discrete trial training, early intensive behavioral intervention, intensive intervention programs, pivotal response training and verbal behavior provided by a licensed psychologist, licensed behavior analyst, licensed assistant behavior analyst or certified autism behavior interventionist.
Hostile environment means a situation in which bullying among students is sufficiently severe or pervasive to alter the conditions of the school climate;
Neurobehavioral Testing means an evaluation of the history of neurological and psychiatric difficulty, current symptoms, current mental status, and premorbid history, including the identification of problematic behavior and the relationship between behavior and the variables that control behavior. This may include interviews of a Member, a Member’s family, or others.
COVID-19 symptoms means fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea, unless a licensed health care professional determines the person’s symptoms were caused by a known condition other than COVID-19.
Wild animals means those species of the class Mammalia whose members exist in Washington in a wild state and the species Rana catesbeiana (bullfrog). The term "wild animal" does not include feral domestic mammals or old world rats and mice of the family Muridae of the order Rodentia.
Slow sand filtration means a process involving passage of raw water through a bed of sand at low velocity (generally less than 0.4 m/h) resulting in substantial particulate removal by physical and biological mechanisms.
Neurobiological Disorder means an illness of the nervous system caused by genetic, metabolic, or other biological factors.
Loss Absorption Regulations means, at any time, the laws, regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards and policies relating to minimum requirements for own funds and eligible liabilities and/or loss absorbing capacity instruments of the Kingdom of Belgium, the Relevant Regulator, the Resolution Authority, the Financial Stability Board and/or of the European Parliament or of the Council of the European Union then in effect in the Kingdom of Belgium including, without limitation to the generality of the foregoing, any delegated or implementing acts (such as regulatory technical standards) adopted by the European Commission and any regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards and policies relating to minimum requirements for own funds and eligible liabilities and/or loss absorbing capacity instruments adopted by the Relevant Regulator and/or the Resolution Authority from time to time (whether or not such regulations, requirements, guidelines, rules, standards or policies are applied generally or specifically to the Issuer or to the Group).
Technological safeguards means the technology and the policy and procedures for use of the technology to protect and control access to personal information.
Serious Medical Condition means a condition which, in Our opinion, constitutes a serious medical emergency requiring urgent remedial treatment to avoid death or serious impairment to Your immediate or long-term health prospects. The seriousness of the medical condition will be judged within the context of Your geographical location, the nature of the medical emergency and the local availability of appropriate medical care or facility.
Urgent Medical Condition means a Condition manifesting itself by acute symptoms that are of lesser severity than those recognized for an Emergency Medical Condition, such that a prudent layperson who possesses an average knowledge of health and medicine could reasonably expect the illness or injury to place the health or safety of the Member or another individual in serious jeopardy, in the absence of medical treatment within 24 hours. Examples of Urgent Medical Conditions include high fever, dizziness, animal bites, sprains, severe pain, respiratory ailments and infectious illnesses.
