Contractor agrees to perform the Services: Employing a methodology that conforms to the standards established by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as described in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Fifth Edition (PMBOK Guide, ANSI/PMI 99-001-2013), supplemented by standards set forth in ISO 12207; and In compliance with standards established by DAS for quality assurance and quality management services.
Within the scope of this agreement and of the PMI Bylaws, policies, procedures, practices and rules, PMI reserves the sole and exclusive rights on behalf of and representing the Project Management Institute to promulgate project management standards; certify project management professionals; accredit and/or recognize training programs and providers; and conduct other PMI-identified and PMI-prepared organization-wide activities, as determined by the PMI Board and the PMI President and CEO.
The exception would be contact hours of training that are required by the Project Management Institute for the Project Management Professional exam and the Certified Associate in Project Management exam.
