Prior Year Salary definition

Prior Year Salary means the total of the Paragraph 5 Salary, roster and reporting bonuses, pro-rata portion of signing bonus, and other payments to players in compensation for the playing of professional football for the last year of the player’s most recently negotiated Player Contract, except for performance bonuses other than roster and reporting bonuses. Prior Year Salary shall also include any unrepaid loans made, guaranteed or collateralized by a Team or its Team Affiliate to a player or Player Affiliate.
Prior Year Salary means the Salary (as defined in this Subsection) for the last League Year of the player’s most recently negotiated Play- er Contract.

Examples of Prior Year Salary in a sentence

  • Prior Year Salary shall also include any unrepaid loans made, guaranteed or collateralized by a Team or its Team Affiliate to a player or Player Affiliate.

  • In addition, a player who is designated as a Xxxx- chise Player or a Transition Player shall have the option of accepting a one year NFL Player Contract for 120% (or 144%, if the player is eligible to receive such a Tender) of the player’s Prior Year Salary in lieu of a Player Contract for the average of the five (or ten, as applicable) largest applicable Salaries for players at his position, if he so wishes, regardless of which Player Contract is for a greater amount.

  • In addition, a player who is designated as a Franchise Player or a Transition Player shall have the option of accepting a one year NFL Player Contract for 120% (or 144%, if the player is eligible to receive such a Tender) of the player’s Prior Year Salary in lieu of a Player Contract for the average of the five (or ten, as applicable) largest applicable Salaries for players at his position, if he so wishes, regardless of which Player Contract is for a greater amount.

  • In addition, a player who is designated as a Xxxx­ xxxxx Player or a Transition Player shall have the option of accepting a one year NFL Player Contract for 120% (or 144%, if the player is eligible to receive such a Tender) of the player'S Prior Year Salary in lieu of a Player Contract for the average of the five (or ten, as applicable) largest applicable Salaries for players at his position, if he so wishes, regardless ofwhich Player Contract is for a greater amount.

  • For any such players, the Club shall be deemed on the first day of the first future League Year in which the designation takes effect to have automatically ten- dered the player a one year NFL Player Contract for the applicable average of the ten (10) largest Prior Year Salaries for players at the position that he played the most games during the prior League Year, or 120% of the play- er’s Prior Year Salary, whichever is greater.

  • For this purpose, “ officer” has the meaning given in section 42 of the Companies Act 1965.

  • From the prior year (HB 06- 1385), this budget increased by $27,761 and 0.0 FTE: $38,445 increase was provided through Prior Year Salary Survey and a reduction of ($10,684) for the base reduction.

  • In addition, a player who is designated as a Xxxx- chise Player or a Transition Player shall have the option of accepting a one year NFL Player Contract for 120% (or 144%, if the player is eligible to re- ceive such a tender) of the player’s Prior Year Salary in lieu of a Player Con- tract for the average of the five (5) (or ten (10), as applicable) largest ap- plicable Salaries for players at his position, if he so wishes, regardless of which Player Contract is for a greater amount.

Related to Prior Year Salary

  • Basic Salary shall have the meaning assigned to it in Section 5 of this Agreement.

  • Annual Salary means the salary given under this Part.

  • Base Compensation means the amount equal to the sum of (i) the greater of Executive’s then-current Annual Base Salary or Executive’s Annual Base Salary as of the date one day prior to the Change in Control, and (ii) the Average Incentive Bonus.

  • Annual Compensation means an amount equal to the greater of:

  • Leave Salary means the monthly amount paid by the University to an employee who is on leave.

  • Base Salary shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3(a) hereof.

  • Monthly Base Salary means 1/12th of the greater of (i) Executive’s annual base salary (excluding incentive pay, premium pay, commissions, overtime, bonuses and other forms of variable compensation) as in effect on the date of a Change in Control Termination or a Covered Termination, as applicable, or (ii) in the case of a Change in Control Termination, Executive’s annual base salary (excluding incentive pay, premium pay, commissions, overtime, bonuses and other forms of variable compensation) as in effect on the date of a Change in Control.

  • Current Annual Compensation means the greater of:

  • Annual Base Salary shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3(a).

  • Base Salary Amount means the greater of the Executive’s annual base salary (a) at the rate in effect on the Termination Date and (b) at the highest rate in effect at any time during the 180-day period prior to a Change in Control, and will include all amounts of the Executive’s base salary that are deferred under any qualified or non-qualified employee benefit plan of the Company or any other agreement or arrangement.

  • Salary as defined in Section 3.1(a).

  • Monthly salary means the gross amount paid to a participant making a claim under s. 40.65, at the time he or she becomes disabled within the meaning of s. 40.65 (4), by the employer in whose employ the injury occurred or the disease was contracted. Overtime pay may not be considered part of an employee’s monthly salary unless the employee received it on a regular and dependable basis.

  • Compensation Year means a period of 12 months expiring 31 March in any year;

  • Target Bonus shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4(b) hereof.

  • Basic Compensation means Salary and Benefits.

  • Average Compensation means the average of your W-2 wages from the Company for the five (5) calendar years completed immediately prior to the calendar year in which the Change in Control is effected. Any W-2 wages for a partial year of employment will be annualized, in accordance with the frequency which such wages are paid during such partial year, before inclusion in Average Compensation.

  • Accrued Base Salary means the amount of Executive's Base Salary which is accrued but not yet paid as of the Date of Termination.

  • Normal salary means the salary that would be paid to a participating employee if that person was not participating in a Plan and includes salary expressed as an annual rate, fortnightly rate, weekly rate, daily rate or hourly rate. It includes all allowances that are paid as an annual rate, fortnightly rate, weekly rate, daily rate or hourly rate but not overtime payments and shift work penalty rates unless they are paid as a component of an annualised rate.

  • Annual Earnings means your gross annual income from your Employer, not including shift differential, in effect just prior to the date of loss. It includes your total income before taxes. It is prior to any deductions made for pre-tax contributions to a qualified deferred compensation plan, Section 125 plan or flexible spending account. It does not include income received from commissions, bonuses, overtime pay or any other extra compensation or income received from sources other than your Employer.

  • Termination Year means the calendar year in which the Employment Period is terminated.

  • Final Average Compensation means the average annual

  • Bonus Compensation shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3(b).

  • Compensation Period has the meaning specified in Section 2.12(c)(ii).

  • Incentive Pay means an annual amount equal to the aggregate annual bonus, in addition to Base Pay, made or to be made in regard to services rendered in any calendar year or performance period pursuant to any bonus plan of the Company.

  • Annual Cash Compensation means the sum of (I) the Employee's highest Base Salary (i.e., one year's salary at its highest rate), plus (II) the "Applicable Average Bonus" as defined in subparagraph 5(a)(i)(B) above.

  • Vacation Year means the twelve (12) month period commencing on the first (1st) day of April in each calendar year and concluding on the thirty-first (31st) day of March of the following calendar year.
